The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is committed to the accessibility of the DMV Web site for all persons. The specific intention of the DMV is to make sure that the web site is accessible to persons with disabilities.

The DMV uses validation tools from the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to review web pages for accessibility problems.  These tools are available at the W3C web site .

DMV customers can open, download and print DMV forms at the DMV web site. To open or print these forms, the customer must have Adobe Acrobat Reader® installed on their computer. Adobe Acrobat Reader® is available for free.
